Gundam Conference SPRING 2026

The “Gundam Project,” a joint initiative by the Bandai Namco Group companies is launching the “Gundam 50th Anniversary Project.” The original TV anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam” was broadcasted in 1979 in Japan, and in 2029, the entire Gundam series celebrates its 50th anniversary. In this stream, the “Gundam 50th Anniversary Project” unveiled newly design anniversary logo, and a newly animated short video to kick-off the project. In addition, “GUNDAM-Con,” the largest Gundam event to be held, was announced as part of the beginning of project. Details of the event were also revealed in the stream. Wide variety of initiatives are also planned as a part of the upcoming 50th anniversary, including announcements of new titles and collaboration projects. As we move closer to the 50th anniversary of Gundam series in 2029, we will continue to expand the possibilities of the IP through new titles, products, services, and events. Gundam is not stopping at its 50th anniversary.
