Lupin and Jigen successfully obtain the "Little Comet", but as they try to escape, police are waiting and are waiting in all of their routes. As they weave through roads and try to escape with a vehicle in the road, a gunshot comes out of nowhere! Jigen takes a closer look at the bullet that shot him and notices it's the same bullet that had shot and killed Queen Malta. Jigen and Lupin visit a cemetery and they find a gravestone with Jigen's name on it! Jigen remembers a rumor about the assassin who prepares an early gravestone for his target, Yael Okuzaki.
