Naruto continues training under Jiraiya to master the “Summoning Jutsu” which enables him to call forth various living beasts. But he has a hard time controlling the Chakra of the Nine-Tailed Fox which is sealed inside him. Meanwhile, Sakura worries about Sasuke who has been hospitalized and heads for the clinic. Around that time, the Hokage has gathered the Hidden Leaf Jonin in the meeting hall and informs them that Hayate has been found dead near Kikyo Castle.
