One day, they receive a request from a samurai from a noble family who has lost a precious item that he believes might be a tsukumogami, especially treasured objects that become imbued with spirits. Seiji comes up with a plan to use the shop's resident tsukumogami to help collect information and find the missing item, but when the item is located the case becomes a bit more complicated than expected. These supernatural creatures listen to conversations around town and spread it as gossip.
