Ukon, who is able to infiltrate the bodies of others, enters Kiba’s body and tries to merge with his cells. Elsewhere, Naruto is shocked by the power of Kimimaro’s Kekkai Genkai, and Shikamaru is in a desperate battle with Tayuya and her giant beasts. Is this the end for the Leaf?
Fakeout: Shikamaru’s Comeback!
An injured Kiba and Akamaru barely escape from Sakon and Ukon. Naruto is locked in battle with Kimimaro, and Shikamaru is having a difficult time with Tayuya’s three giants. He uses his few remaining explosive seals to escape, and hides himself away to plot his final move.
The Leaf’s Handsome Devil!
Shikamaru succeeds in trapping Tayuya with his Shadow Possession Jutsu. But Tayuya moves to her Second State and fights back with enormous strength. Meanwhile, Kiba tends to Akamaru and his own wounds, while three new shadows approach. Naruto, despite all his Shadow Clones, cannot defeat Kimimaro. Just then, in a cloud of smoke, Sasuke appears.

Naruto’s Nine-Tail chakra seems to move with a will of its own as it counters Sasuke’s powerful attacks. Soon, Sasuke’s body also undergoes a transformation. Shaking off the intense pain in his body, Sasuke senses that time has run out.
